The Blues

This is a soft image. No one would think of B.B. King or Mississippi John Hurt or Sonny and Brownie as the men who might sing about this kind of pastel stain in our city sidewalks. Let alone the color of a ring I might have given my love. Yet even this kind of blue is exactly what all of us mean when we (channeling Elton John) say "This boy is too young to be singing the Blues."
