I took a walk today, with my camera, but I saw nothing.

Rather, I saw lots of things: People going about their routines, walking their dogs, parking their cars, and so forth.

Plus I saw the usual trash on the street. A McDonald's cup. A phone card. An ad for a show.

My camera and I came home empty-handed. But today is a day that I have eyes that cannot see, or that cannot show what they see.

I am sorry.
