Yes, Min-san, I took the photo on 21st Street in SF, and I know the meaning of the Japanese letters. Do you think this was a container for pudding?

Hi,
This caractor is somewhat familier and it is probably one in children's anime. Container says "pudding jelly" and it may be for pudding.
There are some anime container food in supermarket just for children and i have never paid attention for those.

I know this is an old post, but I came across by way of google images.

The jar in the picture is a pudding jelly jar that once emptied can be used as a bank. I think the character is modeled after Sanrio Purin (pudding dog). I think it's interesting that while the container and the tag are in Japanese they are a product of Taiwan from Triko Foods.

I was surprised to find these in North FL, if you happen to come across them in an Asian market in SF they are worth a try. :)
